How We Started

It all began in 1993, when a band of buddies and their spouses set off from central California to Baja, targeting blue marlin and sailfish. This wasn’t their first rodeo, but it was the trip that sparked a brilliant idea—a t-shirt company that would echo the essence of their adventures. The phrase they shouted as they packed their gear, "Hey dude, let’s go kick some fin!" perfectly captured their spirit and became an instant obvious choice for a great brand name. 

Now, many years later, honoring the dream of one of those original guys who has passed away from cancer, we have re-launched Kick Fin. Our goal is to bring to the fishing world the good times, the passion, the obsession that resonated with those men and to combine it with the need for casual comfort sometimes and performance at other times.
